Sunday, May 31st Sunday School for Youth and Children

Sunday, May 31st Sunday School for Youth and Children
WORSHIP & SERMON for May 31st:  https://mcccin.blogspot.com/

Every week, I check the number of times the videos and this blog are visited,
and though I try to put up fresh material every week, week after week, this blog and the associated videos are not watched or downloaded.  If, as parents, you are taking the responsibility for family devotions together, this is good and scriptural.  If you are not making a determined effort for your children's spiritual lives and growth, please, at least have your children tune into these videos and resources.

Sunday School Children's Church for Sunday, May 31st, 2020
for Primary and grades Kindergarden through 6th children.

Are your children thankful?  Are they thankful for the things others do for them, like their parents, or brothers and sisters?  God wants us all to be thankful for the wonderful things that are in our lives and especially for what God did for us by sending His Son Jesus to the earth to pay the penalty of our sin.  Please play the short 7 minute video I recorded for your children.  Here is the link:  https://youtu.be/xYHOI55TcWk

I have included in the email, the age related 'weekly take home sheet' for your child to review.  Please print it out and go over the sheet with them and answer any questions they may have.

For Youth Sunday School:
Here is the link to the movie, 'The Gospel of Matthew:
Make sure you open your Bible and follow along with the scriptures!

You should have finished watching the movie of the Gospel of Matthew.  I am concerned because by looking at the analytics of the videos, it looks like only one or two people take the time to watch and print out the notes.  I understand the temptations of other things in this time of isolation, but do not allow other things to crowd out the importance of eternity.  Keep your eyes on Jesus and the eternal things!  Everything else will pass away before you.
If you have not watched the Gospel of Matthew, then I urge you to spend time this week, maybe an hour a day, and watch it all the way through.  Do it again if you have already done it.  Print out the notes and read them.  And listen to what the Holy Spirit will reveal to you!
The disciples of Jesus were only a few years older than most of you, yet God used them to literally change the world in every direction.  God can use you to do the same in your generation!
     In Christ,
Pastor Kevin

Do not forget to be praying for friends and family members, school classmates, and neighbors.

I look forward to the time when we can all gather together again safely!!
