Sunday, June 28th Sunday School for Youth and Children

Sunday, June 28th Sunday School for Youth and Children
Chinese & English WORSHIP & SERMON for June 28th:  https://mcccin.blogspot.com/

Every week, I check the number of times the videos and this blog are visited,
and though I try to put up fresh material every week, week after week, this blog and the associated videos are not watched or downloaded.  If, as parents, you are taking the responsibility for family devotions together, this is good and scriptural.  If you are not making a determined effort for your children's spiritual lives and growth, please, at least have your children tune into these videos and resources.

Sunday School Children's Church for Sunday, June 28th, 2020
for Primary and grades Kindergarden through 6th children.

Do your children know Jesus Christ as their Savior?  It is just as important for them to know Him as it is for you parents.  What children learn at an early age sticks with them long into adulthood.  And more important, Jesus loves the Little children very much and wanted His disciples to have the children come to Him!  Please play the short 15 minute video I recorded for your children.  Here is the link:

I have included in the email, the age related 'weekly take home sheet' for your child to review.  Please print it out and go over the sheet with them and answer any questions they may have.

Sunday School for Youth, Middle and High School for Sunday, June 28th, 2020

This morning, we continue to watch the Gospel of Mark and consider who Jesus is.  You will see very quickly that this Gospel movie is very different from the Gospels of John and Matthew that we have already been through.  Please pay very close attention to the differences between how Jesus and His ministry is portrayed in Mark with what we have seen in John and Matthew.
The segments are only about 4.5 minutes each.  This Sunday, the four segments cover chapters 3 through the end of chapter 5 of Mark and together will take about 17 minutes to view.
Also, please print out the notes that I have sent along and follow them.  Try to pencil in your own thoughts and answers to the sheets.

You should have finished watching the movie of the Gospel of Matthew.  I am concerned because by looking at the analytics of the videos, it looks like only three people took the time to watch and print out the notes.  I understand the temptations of other things in this time of isolation, but do not allow other things to crowd out the importance of eternity in your life.  Keep your eyes on Jesus and the eternal things!  Everything else will pass away before you.
If you have not watched the Gospel of Matthew, then I urge you to spend time this week, maybe an hour a day, and watch it all the way through.  Do it again if you have already done it.  Print out the notes and read them.  And listen to what the Holy Spirit will reveal to you!
The disciples of Jesus were only a few years older than most of you, yet God used them to literally change the world in every direction.  God can use you to do the same in your generation!
     In Christ,
Pastor Kevin

Do not forget to be praying for friends and family members, school classmates, and neighbors.

I look forward to the time when we can all gather together again safely!!
