Sunday School for Youth, Middle and High School for Sunday, August 16th, 2020
This morning, we continue to watch the Gospel of Mark and consider who Jesus is. You will see very quickly that this Gospel movie is very different from the Gospels of John and Matthew that we have already been through. Please pay very close attention to the differences between how Jesus and His ministry is portrayed in Mark with what we have seen in John and Matthew.
Week 11: Crucifixion and Resurrection (Mark 15:16–16:8) The segments are only about 10 minutes together to view. This Sunday, the three segments cover Mark chapter 15: 15 to Mark 16: 1-8, and are about Jesus trial, and His presentation to Pilate. You can stop it after Pilate asks the people if he should release Barabbas or Jesus and we will finish off the remainder of that segment next Sunday.
Also, please print out the notes that I have sent along for week 11 and follow them. Try to pencil in your own thoughts and answers to the sheets.

Do your children know Jesus Christ as their Savior? It is just as important for them to know Him as it is for you parents. What children learn at an early age sticks with them long into adulthood. And more important, Jesus loves the Little children very much and wanted His disciples to have the children come to Him! Please play the short 15 minute video I recorded for your children. I have included in the email, the age related 'weekly take home sheet' for your child to review. Please print it out and go over the sheet with them and answer any questions they may have.
